Card Swap? How fun!

This is soooooooooooooo cool!
We all need a little pick me up I think and this is JUST the ticket! Dj Doodle is hosting her second annual Card swap for the holidays.

*I did this last year and had a ball! You get cards from all over the country!*

This year she has gone above and beyond and is asking that we all send at least 1 card to a ill or wounded soldier...... dont you know they will love this????

If you can, come on over and be part of the fun! I'll see you there!

Meet Jane of Ark............

I am so excited to get to introduce you to a dear friend and artist of mine. I have known Jane from eBay groups and she has really helped and inspired me in my search of prims.
Here is a little about Jane of Ark.

Jane of Ark Designs was born in the Spring of 2002, after finally following my heart and allowing the inspirations from these gorgeous Arkansas Ozark foothills to find their place on my drawing board. I gladly offer my One-of-a-Kind creations of grunged and sometimes extremely UGLY primitive dolls, collectible Cookie Cutter characters, gatherings, ornies, and 'get-by' 'make-dos'! At Jane of Ark you will find HAND SEWN and RAG STUFFED treasures....made from the simple things I find on hand....just like Grandma's from days gone by! You won't find my offerings repeated often as I hope to keep my designs truly unique and limited in number....making them attractive to the Primitive/Folk Art collector. Custom orders are always welcome...AND, be assured, there is always a primitive 'wantful' being created..if not on my production table..then surely in my mind!

Jane has a website http://www.janeofark.com/

and a Lemon Poppy Seeds Shoppe http://www.lemonpoppyseeds.com/shoppes/psjaneofarkdesigns/

This is one of her newest additions to her shoppe. It is a OOAK (One of a Kind) and will NOT be duplicated. This is her Holiday Cookie Cutter ornie doll....a sweet PEACE ANGEL. If you like her you better head over to her shoppe quickly before someone else gets the only one.

Meet Sue Owner of Rabbit Hollow Primitives

We'd love for you to get to know our Marketplace Members. Sue with Rabbit Hollow Primitives has been an online friend of mine for several years. Sue is an amazingly gifted artist who works in all styles of Primitives.

Sue got started in sewing and crafting while helping her mom in Sue’s teen years to sew and sell dolls at local craft shows. She just recently started back into making and selling dolls of her own.
She lives in North Carolina where she is a teacher by day and raises 2 small boys and a wonderful hubby while not at school. Sue is planning on adding paper clay dolls to her already extensive line of artwork.

You can find Sue all over the web be here are some of my favorite places to find her.
